  • Identify common weeds, diseases and insects in our area

  • Learn about least toxic, research-based control methods 

  • See management strategies on site

  • Create a plan for managing pests

  • Network with other growers!

Goat Artificial Insemination Clinic

2-day, hands-on goat AI clinic

Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5, 2021 | 9 am - 6 pm each day

Canyon County Fairgrounds

Caldwell, ID 83605

Day 1: Effects of management, stress, and environment on AI success Proper feed, care, and management of AI candidates and semen donors. Basic instruction on doe and buck hormones. Selecting AI candidates. Effective record keeping. Proper storage and thawing techniques of frozen semen. AI equipment, care, and suggested use. Hands on training in the operation and practical applications of AI tools and equipment.
Day 2: Attendees must provide their own AI equipment for use during the class and a doe, in heat, for insemination and effective hands-on training. During this session, the application of techniques learned in day one of the clinic will be put into action.*If purchasing AI equipment make sure you do so well in advance.  
Bio Genics is happy to assist you in selecting your AI equipment, supplies, and/or semen for use during the class. All purchases should be ordered well in advance to insure timely delivery.
