CS Management Team

Michel Wiman trained as an ecologist and has experience in habitat restoration, invasive species ecology, carnivore recovery, and organic tree fruit weed management. She honed her passion for sustainable food production by working on an organic farm and at an organic farm supply company.  She enjoys increasing consumer education and disseminating organic and sustainable research findings to producers and the community through her work and volunteer efforts. She currently works as Research Associate in the WSU Small Farms Program, and coordinates the Cultivating Success program in Washington.  In her free time, she serves on the Board of Directors of regional food organizations, and packs weekly veggie shares at a collaborative CSA and local food shop in Wenatchee.
