Types of logos:
Cultivating Success logos: we have included
high resolution "print"
logos for use in print media such as brochures, flyers and advertisements,
and low resolution "web ready" logos for use in web applications. Using a
web logo in a print application will result in a pixelated and sometimes
blurry image.
Partners and Sponsors logos: these are
low resolution but may be used in print applications if they will be very
small. Contact the ariel@uidaho.edu for
information on how to obtain high resolution versions of these logos.
Note: These logos are copyrighted by their respective organizations. If
you are not sure if you need to use this logo on your project, please ask
us!
To download a logo:
- Right click on the image you need.
- For "Print" logos, choose "Save
Target As" from the menu (these images are linked to larger files)
- For "Web Ready" logos, choose "Save
Picture As" (you are downloading the image you see on the screen)
- Save the image to your desktop or
create a folder that you will be able to locate easily
To use a logo:
These logos are designed to work with a
variety of applications. To use a logo in a Microsoft Office program such
as Word, PowerPoint or Publisher, choose "Insert Picture from File" from
the menu bar at the top of the screen. Then locate the image you have
downloaded.
To resize an image in one of these
programs once it is placed, right click on the image and choose "Format
Picture" from the menu. Select "Layout", and then, from the "Wrapping
Options" select "In Front of Text". You may now move and resize the image
easily in the document.
